Runic is going to be an in-person hackathon in the Bay Area. Join us in 24 hours of hacking, workshops, and making connections. No prior coding experience? No problem! We'll provide all the support you need to learn coding and leave with a new skill.

A hackathon is a social event where people get together to code awesome projects in a limited time. Our hackathon will welcome beginners, experts, and everybody in between!

Runic will start at 12pm on January 20th and end at 12pm on January 21st.

All highschoolers and middleschoolers are welcome to attend and have an amazing time at Runic!

You will get an email with more relevant information after signing up!
What do I need?
Your laptop, chargers, anything for your hack (hardware?), sleeping bags, water bottles, and an open mind.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! We’ll have meals, snacks, and beverages onsite at the hackathon, as well as swag, prizes, and fun mini-events.
I'm not that good at coding...
Runic is for hackers of all skill levels! We'll have workshops and other events so join us and let's learn together.
What can I make
Anything! Apps, art, sites, and hardware projects are all perfect for a hackathon.
My parents are worried!
We're here to help, ask them to reach out to us at help@runic.rsvp and we'll make sure to answer all their questions. Runic will be supervised by background checked adults.
